How does it work?? Every Christmas Night we play Zoom Bingo & raise money for charity and this year is no different. We have a “€15,000 GIVE BACK FUND” which we are literally going to give away to clubs & community. organisations… 10 Lucky Winning Clubs/Organisations based in the Republic Of Ireland will win €1,000 and one lucky one will win €5,000!! No catch- no fee. Just our way of giving back.. Here are the details… 1. Feel free to TAG YOUR CLUBS AND LET THEM KNOW, but please note that ONLY THE SECRETARY/CHAIRPERSON OR TREASURER of the club or organisation is eligible to make the actual application on our website. ONE PER CLUB. 2. The donation will be made to the CLUB or ORGANISATION & not an individual team. I.E. you can’t apply for your under 10 team etc, its ONE ENTRY PER CLUB/ ORGANISATION. 3. CLUBS CRITERIA- Must have at least 50 players/members and be mostly CHILDREN led. Our aim is to give back to the grassroots of clubs. The clubs must also be fully AMATEUR. Examples include soccer/gaa/ basketball/ taekwando /dance acadamies etc.. 4. LOCAL COMMUNITY ORGANISATION CRITERIA… Must be volunteer led & rely mostly on donations/fundraising but not be a mainstream charity. We have seperate plans in their regard. Examples of who would be eligible include soup runs/ autism units/ youth clubs etc. Again only a senior official from the organisation may make the actual application, but feel free to TAG them.. 5. Applications can be made ONLY ON OUR WEBSITE https://balgriffinbingo.ie/club-interest-form/ Any queries only to bingo@thebalgriffin.ie as Facebook Messages or emails to other addresses wont be answered (busiest time of the year) 6. The CLOSING DATE for applications is SUNDAY 21ST DECEMBER. No late applications accepted. 7. All successful applications will enter a BALLOT and will be EMAILED THEIR TICKET NUMBER no later than 7pm on Sunday 21st December.. 8. Tune in to BALGRIFFIN ZOOM BINGO on Sun 21st December where we will do a LIVE & TRANSPARENT DRAW of all successful applicants and find our 11 Successful Clubs/ Organisations. The 11 successful ones are GUARANTEED €1,000 at this stage. 9. At the break of our CHRISTMAS NIGHT BINGO, we will be putting the 11 clubs/Organisations into a LIVE & TRANSPARENT DRAW, and one of them will be upgraded from €1k to €5,000 donation!!! 10. As stated, these draws will be fully at RANDOM and the organisers will have no say or preference over who wins so please don’t contact anyone involved asking for favours etc as they can’t be done. We are doing this with the best of intentions & a good heart. Not to offend or upset any unsuccessful applicants, so please enter with hope more so than expectation & Winning will be a bonus!!!
